What made me decide to be a child’s sponsor.. I have seen the news about Child Sponsorship Program through Santisuk Foundation’s social medias and brochures since many years ago. I have read about the mission and my compassion on helping the needy children have started from there. Although I had a heart of helping but I couldn’t make it according to the economy situation. All I could do was keeping this issue in my heart.

Later on I was given good chance in my career path. I felt very grateful and I would like to give goodchances to others. So I searched more information about sponsoring the children through internet again. By the way, I have found the brochure of Santisuk Foundation at my work place. So I filled up the form and sent it to foundation. Not for long, I have been contacted by the foundation’s staff. She gave me all information I wanted to know about sponsoring a child. I felt contented that my help will reach the child so I decided to be a child’ sponsor. Although my support amount began with 500 baht for a month, I still didn’t know how long I could do this because I had a lot of living expenses. But I decided to persist on the compassion of my heart. Until today, I have no regrets over my decision. I have helped a child for 4 years now. I always received the child’s information & reports about schooling, family etc. from the foundation. 

I felt glad when I read about good things happened in my sponsored child’s life. When I looked back, I have seen that many things have changed in better ways. My help have reached one’s life who is our earthly family. By giving help to a child’s schooling is a life changing. A child’s life will be filled with education, potentials and opportunities to live life with wisdom and compassion to help others.
